Sustainable Product Design

Collaborating with suppliers to design products that minimize environmental impact throughout their lifecycle, from sourcing of materials to end-of-life disposal, including: 

  • Material Selection: Choose sustainable and eco-friendly materials. For example, Prioritize textile materials that are certified by recognized standards such as Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), OEKO-TEX Standard 100, or Bluesign. For electronics, Prioritize materials that are free from hazardous substances and comply with regulations such as the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive.

  • Packaging and Transportation: Use eco-friendly packaging materials for electronics packaging, such as recycled or recyclable packaging

  • Waste Reduction: Desiging products with minimal waste in mind, optimizing manufacturing processes to reduce material waste, and implementing recycling and upcyling initiatives to divert waste from landfills.

Providing support and resources to suppliers to help them improve their sustainability performance, such as training programs, access to technology, and financial assistance.
